M+A Staff Members to Develop LEED Prep Courses with Columbus State

Through an interview selection process, Nikki Wildman and Kirk Paisley, both Project Managers at M+A and LEED APs, have been selected to develop and teach a LEED Green Associate preparation course for Columbus State Community College. The class will be offered through the Center for Workforce Development and is scheduled to be offered in late spring of 2010.

The LEED Green Associate is a professional accreditation offered through the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). Individuals who achieve this accreditation possess "the knowledge and skill to understand and support green design, construction, and operations." The course that Wildman and Paisley will be creating will prepare students to take the exam to become accredited.
