Bayshore Town Center Wins Silver with ICSC

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) announced the winners of their 2009 United States Design and Development Awards at the CenterBuild Conference in Phoenix, Arizona this week. The awards recognize the premier design and development trends in retail projects and store design within the U.S.

Bayshore Town Center located in Glendale, Wisconsin was a Silver award winner in the Renovation or Expansion of an Existing Project Category. At the heart of this mixed use development is Building 'N' in which M+A was the executive Architect. This six story, 617,000sf building integrates luxury apartment living space on the top floors with retail shops and restaurants on the ground floor. A parking garage is also connected to the building for use by the residents and visitors.

The only town center serving Milwaukee's North Shore area, the entire project included the conversion and expansion of an existing mall.
